I think you are thinking about medicare supplement plans. Silverscrip is a good one. There's lots of others, just have to compare side by side to see what meets your needs.
Not but one medicare part D, it is federal, and the same everwhere. Read your Medicare book. How you file for it does vary. It is usually administered by some insurance company in your local state, and depends a lot on what medicines you need.
