Strange noise

OK, here's the deal, for the last few weeks we have been going crazy with a noise......sounds like a small yapping dog. Wife thought it was the fire extinguisher since it sounded like it was coming from that area. Fire extinguisher is to the right of the front door, which is just to the left of a curb side slide out. I have got down and listened when it was happening and told her "No, that's not it". We have a large porch built along the trailer and I went out this morning and was looking around wondering if it could be the slide out there or the electric awning making noises and found a toad living in the folds of a large black plastic bag enclosing a Coleman Road Trip grill. Is it possible for a toad to sound like a small yapping dog? Noise always lasts about the same amount of time and quits if you open the door to try to find it and never at night. Thoughts or ideas if it's not that?

Green tree frogs can sound like that. They can climb up the side of an rv and move around hiding in various places.

You could probably Google them and hear the sound they make.

Yes frogs may sound like a small dog. Hopefully you moved the frog and the sound has gone away.

Once in awhile the suspension will make a sound that can be described as a small yappy dog bark. But it usually happens when someone is moving around inside the RV.
