Tool boxes that full timers carry

Newbie to the sight. We are about a year out from our start of full timing. Starting to go thru the garage and thin out all my tools and boxes. Wondering what kind of tools I should keep? Maybe make up two smaller boxes rather then the top of my roll away.

Where do you intend to travel to and what do you do right now as far as maintenance around the house and on your vehicles? Do you intend to change?

I do just about all the required maintenance on my rig. I maintained my farm equipment when I farmed, so when I got the rig I just considered it another piece of equipment I needed to maintain. I knew what tools I used on a continuing basis and they went with me. I also take along a selection of spare parts that I'm sure would fail and it would seriously inconvenience me. I'm talking about small electrical parts, hydraulic O-rings, toilet ball and gaskets and such. A complete set of tire tools and tire mounting gear with irons, hammers, jack, 500 ft lb torque wrench and such. We go to out of the way places and stay for extended times, so we take what we need. We're in Alaska now (8th trip) and will be for the next 3 months. Ever try to get a UPS package at Valdez or Glennallen?

Wow ! Different strokes for diff folks . I carry in my TT or truck , batt drill motors , several socket sets , hammers , 110 volt drill motor plus bits , plastic jar full of mixed sizes screws and nuts , pancake air compressor , two brad nailers , electrical meters and tools , two hydraulic jacks , battery chain saw , assorted chains and straps, GI shovel ,open end wrenches ,and a partridge in a pear tree ! Do ya think That I carry too much ? We often find handyman work on the road !! Gets us many free dry camping spots . Ya rehang some farmers gate and they let ya hang around !
