'12 Aspect, bottom slides seals missing? (can see outside)

My wife was dry camping last weekend, running the generator in the evening when the carbon monoxide detector went off. She turned on the fans and got the inside vented & alarm went off. (I'm deploying overseas and in Texas, so she couldn't reach me until later)
I had her go outside and look under the bedroom side and she could see a ~1/2" gap between the slide and floor where she could reach inside the RV. She also noticed a gap on the other slides.
I assume there is a rubber seal is missing on the bottom of the slides to keep the inside of the RV sealed up?
She has an appointment with the nearest Winnie dealer in a few weeks.
(Also found the fresh water tank was not attached and pulled away from the fill port, dumping 2/3's of the water tank on her 3 hour drive to the camp site.
Overall, we love the new Aspect and it's the first C with slides we've owned, thus the long winded question about additional bottom seals on the three slides to keep out generator fumes. TKS

Yes please keep us posted. We have a 2013 30C and haven't used the generator dry camping...yet. Let us know what Winnebago says please.
Thanks, Andi

Even with the slide seal repaired exhaust from the gen will leak in other places. Consider using a Genturi to vent the exhaust above the rv.

In addition to looking for another dealer, I would immediately contact the manufacturer about this. This is obviously a HUGE safety issue that must be corrected as soon as possible. What if the detector failed to warn her? Before it left the next dealership after they worked on it, I would make sure they tested it with the generator running to insure it was fixed. Let the manufacturer know about your problems with the unit and stay on top of it until it works like it's supposed to work. Let us know how it comes out, and thank you for your service.

Update FWIW:
Wife took RV to Winnebago dealer for warranty repairs last Fall.. Slides were supposedly adjusted. She just informed me that on her first dry camping night, the CO alarm woke her up. Generator fumes still seeping into rear bedroom slide so its off to a different Winnebago dealer for warranty work again. (I'm in AFG so can't help out which is a bit frustrating). We looked at the aftermarket Venturi exhaust stacks but generator warranty does not approve and there is nowhere to hang it off the Aspect. (End of rant)

It's a 30C....wife confirmed there are seals on bottom, just mis-aligned leaving large air gap.

What model Aspect?
Yes there should be a rubber seal on the slides top, bottom and sides.
My fresh water tank is under the rear bed no fresh water fill. Except for city water valve conn.
