2007 Winnie Adventurer 38j - remove screens

In our main living area (the Dining area) there are 3 large Windows which have crankouts at the bottom half.

The screens in those halves are pretty dirty (especially after sand storms in Yuma). I see the pull tabs but there is a crank mechanism that I think needs to be taken care of.

Does anyone know how to remove these screens - specifically detach the crank mechanism and more importantly re-attach?

Thanks

If it helps any too, you can clean screens with a carpet cleaner / rug doctor upholstery tool. Have somebody stand on the other side of the screen with a board to brace the backside, and go over it with the non-rotary tool (just the one that sprays/extracts). Cleans screens wonderfully. Use a degreaser and NOT a vinegar/acid cleaner if they are standard aluminum screens.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

Is it a flat disc with a crank handle? If it's like the ones we have in the bedroom you have to remove that disc/handle. Small screw in the center of the disc. Be careful, there is a small washer behind the disc, you don't want to lose it. Once the disc is off you can remove the screen, kind of a pain but not that hard.
