Looking for a little advice. My father is thinking of trading his 2004 Diesel pusher for a 2010 Navion 24J(see link below) He is no longer snowbirding down south and decided that his current rig is too big for him. He's been trying to sell it for over a year with no success. I think he can get some use out of this and it should be easier to sell afterwords. I'm unfamiliar with these units and especially the Mercedes diesel. Any input would be appreciated.

I have a Coachman Prisim, which is based on the same Sprinter chassis, and I did the same thing my previous rig was a 38 foot class A diesel pusher. The ride, handling etc are great, I do not miss the DP. In my case the conner bed is the only issue, if he can live with that then go for it, I do not think he will regret it. No $800 fuel bills at fill up, tires can be had 1/3 the cost of the pusher, in fact you could almost do without a toad in most cases! I have taken both long and short trips with it, (longest 3,800 miles), and won't look back! Good luck

I've got one and I like it a lot. If you want to learn more about the View/Navion than you can stand go here: LINK

This is a support group that is the core knowledge base for the RV. If you want to hear about the good stuff, the warts and truth, it's the place. If the dealer is saying it will get 20 MPG and tow a Hummer, go there and learn the truth.
