Is the Excursion that much cheaper than the Expedition? Maybe with a little more pressure on the dealer you could make it work. When we looked they were about $20,000 difference from each other. I see there weren't any responses, but I've heard many people enjoy their Excursions.

Based on the two links below, I noticed a difference with motors and number of slides. However, I'm sure there are more differences to justify the price disparity. Personally, I'd like the Expedition between the two choices.

I think that 35b is the same one I looked at last week at LaMesa in Fla.

The New Excursion is a different version of the previous Excursion. Which was replaced by the Providence. The new Excursion is shorter and has a smaller engine/tranny. The Expedition was one model below the previous Excursion in Fltwds line up at one time. I like it if your looking for a smaller pusher. Not sure where they are positioned compared to each other now. The Expedition has good history. The New Excursion does not. (History) All the new FLTWD DP are much more upgraded then previous iterations. Even at the entry level.

Can't speak for the Excursion, but we just purchased a 2013 Expedition. Really like it. Our first DP. For the most part it has been the most trouble free RV we have purchased new.

Two things come to mind, check your tire pressures and inflate (tire mfg rec) based on the actual weight of your coach. It makes a big difference on how it drives. Second check the house battery levels immediately, mine were low from the dealer/factory.

Just quick looking and asking around about 140k I haven't crossed off my list a older higher end DP
