2013 32ft Class A V-10 towing Jeep Wrangler-- Just returned from our first trip since installing a 5 star.I noticed when it would start up a hill ( cruise set on 65)( running about 2500 rpm) it would downshift 1 gear and rpms would climb to about 3000. then it would drop to the next gear and the rpms would climb to about 3800 but would fluctuate from 3800 to 3500 a couple of times before it lock in. sounded like the torque converter was not locking in. I haven't gotten home early enough to call 5 star yet but will Friday. Anyone else had this issue ( if it is an issue).Other than that I really liked the way it shifted.

We've had a 5-star for 6 years now in our 2005 31' Class C and love it. It definitely straightened out the shift patterns and improved the hill climbing a lot. I can pass a lot of diesel pushers climbing hills without straining her any. We even gained about 1 1/2 MPG.

God to know. I'm saving up for the Tuner. Had it on my 02 Excursion with the V-10. It made a huge difference in how it towed the trailer. The shift strategy change alone was amazing.
