Have a banging noise under the motorhome, it is a 2009 Fleetwood discovery
Anybody have any ideas as to what is wrong. Nothing in the basement is moving around. DH thinks it is an add-on stabler bar, anybody please help. Would like to leave on a winter trip soon. MH only has 15,000 miles.

If the front end was aligned, I would check the tie rod adjusters, they may be turned where they hit something.

Yup, check the sway bar end link bushings and shocks/shock mounts.

Broken upper shock mount, perhaps

Loose shock mounts maybe. Is the noise only when sharp turns at low speeds or slight turns at high speeds? Does your MH have Steer safe added to the front?

did you add a stiffer anti-sway bar?
maybe the bushings are causing it

Forgot to say that it sounds like it is coming behind the front tires.

I have a 2005 Excursion, almost the same thing. I have no idea as to what's causing it, but I'd like to know.

Does it have when going slow like in a parking lot or fast?

All turns or just sharp turns?

Turning to the right side or left side, or both directions?

Is the noise in the front or rear of MH?

Is it on the left or right side?

Any recent work or changes done to the MH?
