If you have power to plug in a trickle charger of any type, then you have power to run your RV's converter/charger, so your good to go, if it is a modern 3 stage charger that won't overcharge or boil your batteries.
If your system won't charge both the house and chassis banks, the fix is as easy as a set of jumper cables.
