"dpfreeman".....Somewhere in your coach you should have a display panel for various things such as your inverter and the Oasis control panel. Your Oasis unit has two electric burners for when you're connected to shore power. The Oasis panel has an upper switch that turns on the diesel burner....just leave it off. Just below that is another switch. It's a three way switch. One position is OFF, one position is one electric burner on (good for when you're connected to 30 amp) and a third position for both electric burners (good for when you're connected to 50 amp). When you turn this switch on, one or two lights will come on depending if you turned both burners on or not. Once they reach temperature, the lights will go out.
Lastly, before you do anything, there is an "ON" switch on the Oasis unit itself. You can find that unit in one of your outside bays. Nothing will work until the main unit is turned on.
Here is something I wrote when I first started using the Oasis unit. You might find it handy to print out and keep it until you're comfortable with the unit.
