born free RVs

I googled Born Free and was switched to Born Free in Nacodoches. evidently they no longer are in Iowa? is Foretravel still there or did they switch to making BFs?

Born Free (Humboldt, Iowa) was sold in 2015 to HBF Industries; John Dodgen, Born Free's founder, died last September. The company is still where it always was, i.e., Iowa, but I don't know how or if Born Free's product quality has been affected by the sale of the company.

It appears the original poster thought "Foretravel" had acquired "Bornfree"

See the bottom of Foretravel home page They are in two different states. One does high end class A's (Foretravel) and one builds high priced class C's (Bornfree). Motorhomes of Texas, the Bornfree dealer is down the road from Foretravel in Texas, but is not affiliated with Foretravel.

thanks, IIRc THEY used to have a dealer in PA but evidently no longer. visited their plant years back when I was looking at Cs.
