Brake Buddy breakaway switch?

I was given an older used Brake Buddy like the one seen in the link below. It is in very good condition and works great. However, I was wondering if anyone knows if I am able to hook a breakaway switch to it? I'm assuming it would be connected at one of the "banana jacks"? Any help would be appreciated, as I looked on their website and they do not offer a manual for this older model.

that $7.48 looks like my OEM one but 10% of the price. to avoid going thru the firewall with the wire, which was a nightmare, I just came out the side of the hood, to the side of the window post and into the toad whenever I towed it. when not in use, just coiled it up under the hood. standard radio shack banana jack plugs would work just fine. IIRC my BB had 4 banana jacks, two for break away, two for activation sensor and they were color coded, don't remember "code" however.

you can make your own switch - the break away switches are common "trailer" parts.

each of the (2) wires from the break-away switch go to its own "banana" plug - polarity doesnt matter, nor does color of the banana plugs.
