cabin water pump problem

We have a 2000 Fleetwood Discovery. Our cabin water pump indicator light has stopped working. The pump will work occasionally but then will not shut off. The 7.5 amp fuse is OK and I had the switch checked and it is functional. The electric board is fairly new (4-5 years). Any ideas of what else could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

check for a loose wire at the pump. strange it works some times.

Indicator may just be a bad lamp, if the pump won't shut off it could be the pressure switch on the pump is bad, also could be there is air in the incoming line, a leak somewhere or it could be one of the switches (normally there are two)is faulty.

Since you say the problem is intermittent I would check the switches 1st.
