I'm having a time tring to get my DP to crank had batterys checked and they were bad, changed out. But still don't crank,I'm getting two alarms . One when key is turn to on that stays on till key is turn off and the other when the key is turn to start it go's off. If I can't find out whats going on , I will need at good rv mech. for the Craven county area in NC anybody know one ?

There has to be a small wire on the positive side that did not get hooked back up. Check to see if there is one in your battery compt. Easy to miss it. Hook it up and it will crank. Had the same problem with a friend who owned a discover. Hope that is it and this helps.

Do you have jacks? Do you have an interlock that will not allow the coach to start if they are down or another device that might have a similar interlock.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

Are you sure. Did you mark the positive wire lugs and take pictures before you disconnected the original batteries? Improper hookups is a very common starting problem when new batteries are installed. And the installers always say that they hooked them up properly, until they are are showed the mistake. And then they say, "Don't know how I could have done that"!

Diesels normally buzz or ding when you turn on the key. Do you have air pressure - anything under 60 psi will cause a ding or buzz. We are talking about a 2000 REXHALL AERBUS 37' DIESEL, but what brand and model of diesel? Has it ever ran since you owned it?

Don't know any diesel road service guys down there. But this one sounds promising: http://www.coastaldiesel.net/index.htm. But best have you pants with deep pockets on. Diesel mechanics do not come cheap, but some of the best I have ever ran across are down your way!

It could be a grounding problem. I would trace the ground to the frame & then
to the motor.

I had the same issue with my 93 Safari DP with Allison 6 speed.
It turned out to be a fault with the ICU unit which was part of the push button selector.
A break in the PC board which I had to send the complete unit back to your side of the planet for repair.

Are the new batteries charged up?

Are the new batteries wired correctly?

Did the rig ever start after the new batteries were installed?

I think you need a diesel mech, not a rv mech. from what you,ve said ?still sounds like a battery issue dirty ends etc.
