Class B vans similar to Dodge Xplorer

Are there any camper vans that are similar to the older Dodge Xplorers in that there is a lowered floor with 6 feet of standing room inside? I would prefer a lowered floor rather than a raised roof because my town has a height restriction of 7'.
The Xplorer is perfect because it allows me to stand up inside, park it in my garage, and it only barely goes over my neighborhood height restrictions (so I don't think it will be noticed).

If there are other camper vans with lower floors out there that would give me more options to choose from and I might be able to find a van close to me.

Or if you have any other suggestions that would be awesome too!
Thanks.

If you know what you're doing, you can 'stealth' camp in all kinds of places with an ordinary B.

Do you have any tips for stealth camping and places to camp for free? Heres what I know:
Park on streets with a lot of cars and in between houses, that way you blend in and nobody knows which house the van is 'visiting'.
I know some walmarts have overnight parking but you can usually only stay for a night or two.
Truck stops usually let you park overnight.
Some national parks allow you to stay for free for about 2 weeks!
Some beaches allow free camping.
I'll probably post a new topic on this subject if it doesn't already exist.

Have you checked out YouTube? "Chris Travels" has an Explorer and travels all over with it. He has some recent videos but many older videos about living and traveling in his van. You may also want to check out Walter Dano, Living The Van Life, Jeff the Kanuck. The latter two use VW Westfalias, which could be another option. There ar ealso some nice custom made vans. I like your approach of sticking to a budget.

Haha yes! Those guys are huge inspirations for me. I'll have to check out Jeff the Kanuck and Walter Dano though. I'm not too into the Westfalias because I want a little bit more room than what they have to offer.
Cheers!

New Ford Econoline Van. Figure out how old a cargo van with RV amenities like toilet, stove, shower, fridge, furniture, windows, holding tanks, etc. would have to be for it to cost $8,000.

Have you considered SportMobile? They have the penthouse which raises the roof only slightly, but can be raised for standing room. If you are not too tall you may be able to stand with the roof in the down position.

I probably would go for a pop top but they always seem too far out of my price range. I'm looking at most $8,000. Hopefully some cheaper ones 'pop up' this spring.
Not sure how I would stand with the roof in the down position though. And I don't think I'll ultimately be able to use the pop top all that much considering I'll be doing a lot of stealth camping. And nothing shouts "I'm living here" like a pop top. Hmm...I'm in a tight spot that's for sure.

My first RV was a Class B Roadtrek on a Dodge chassis. Are there places it won't fit? Yes. Its too long for a single metered parking space on the street and its too tall to fit in a multilevel parking garage on the road or my garage at home.
The last straw was a driveshaft U Joint recall on my still under warranty RT. The water tank was mounted under the drive shaft and Dodge wouldn't pay to have it dropped because the tank was an aftermarket addition. Roadtrek wouldn't pay because nothing they added was broken. So I paid.

I don't get. There is a 83.9 inch high, can't stand up, and a 105 inch, well over 7'.

I didn't say the roof wasn't raised. I said the roof is not raised like the Roadtrek. In other words its not as high (about a foot shorter.. which would make it around 7').

Your welcome.

But you can't stand up in it. Or any other B without being noticeably higher that 7'.
