Class C temp parking

Greetings all. We just purchased a minnie winnie and take delivery in two weeks. We live in Suffolk, VA so anyone in this area that has specific info please chime in. We were just wondering if anyone has any idea about temp street parking. We have a couple wide roads adjacent to our home and are just looking for a couple days to familiarize and setup before taking our first weekend trip.

Does anyone have any advice for newbies?

I would suggest that if the city government has no idea then it has not been a problem in your area and people are not complaining. In my city there are codes that mention restrictions but do not address temporary parking. My neighbors and I bring our RVs around and park it in the street to load before a trip. I don't park more than 24 hrs but my neighbor's will park for a few days. I wouldn't dig too deep; as they say, it is easier to ask forgiveness than to get permission, especially if you have done the search for ordinances.
Enjoy your new Minnie!

Yeah I have heard that. I have checked and checked and can find ordinances for every town surrounding here but not one for Suffolk specifically so far. Even the local city government shrugged their shoulders and said to ask the police. Sort of odd but I suppose that's next.

Enjoy your new Minnie Winnie!
You'll need to check with your local government to see what the parking ordinances are. We can park on our street during the day, but not all night.
We pull Minnie into the driveway. Some neighborhoods will not allow an RV driven on the neighborhood streets!
