Does anyone have a class C or any other RV with the chevy 6.6 gas engine? I just looked at a Jayco and it had a 6.6 gas engine and I thought they were all still using the 6.0 gas engines. If you do have one what are your thoughts so far?

I'll just pop in - we have a '23 Thor 22E Class C (Ford chassis) that we drove to FL and back. Driving to FL, I felt that I was over-correcting the steering a bit too much; so while in FL, we took it in for re-alignment, and it was spot-on. However, the service technician who test-drove it said that the handling could be improved. We added the Safe-T-Plus steering helper, plus a Steer Safe trac bar. Now it drives like the family SUV. I suspect that the short wheelbase plus towing our Wrangler JLU just made it a bit "wander-y" in a crosswind until we added the tweaks.

We will pick it up next Tuesday, so I didn't have a chance for a long drive.

During the test drive we went maybe 10 miles or so. During the test drive it handled really well. The ride was comfortable, not much noise and the steering was tight and responsive. I did some lane changes without any problems and was easy to see out the mirrors. On corners it did very well no out of the ordinary leaning and the whole time it never seemed top heavy, very stable.

If after next Tuesday or sooner if you want to call with questions send me a PM and I will get back to you.

How does your new RV handle? I am looking at potentially buying the same model. Is it easy to get around town in?

Just bought a (Jayco) Entegra Odyssey SE 22C. It has the Chevy 6.6L on a 3500 chassis. We will pickup Tuesday 5/16

During test drive the engine was very responsive, plenty of power.

Well, looks like nobody has a 6.6 chevy gas engine yet. But I can verify That they are on dealers lots because I have personally seen them. I do not know if they are on a 3500 or 4500 chasis though.
