Looking at Newmar 2016/17 Baystar but was told that there had been problems with their real windows in the back of the unit. Anyone have any experience or have heard of such claims?

I recently saw a rear window recall for a for a coach brand that escapes me now. I believe the issue was the safety exit didn't work or some such.

I have a 2007 Canyon Star with a window on the back. No issues, other than it gets dirty after driving in the rain. Easy to clean, never had an issue. Have just over 50000 miles on unit. It is a bit brighter in the morning, so we also had it tinted.

Fake windows are a lot easier to clean though. As long as you use the faux windex and imaginary squeegee.

LOL fake windows. ๐Ÿ™‚ The tangled web we weave. Haven't heard of the issues with real windows.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

I'll admit, thats the first I've ever heard of this.

I'm thinking your salesman is getting a bit desperate if thats all he can make up. :B

I think at one time they had a problem with fake windows.

Have not heard that. Cannot see where they could be a problem since they don't open. We had ordered one but somehow it got left off the build sheet. Don't miss it really. I like the way the graphics look on the back without the window.
