Convection oven use

My microwave combo oven died and I need to replace it. We never really used the convection all that much. We also don't have a gas oven.

I was thinking of replacing it with a non-convection unit to save money. Is this a bad idea? It's fine for us but if we sell the unit would it hurt the resell? Would you by a MH without a gas or convection oven?

Without the gas oven, I would think the convection is a necessity.

Wed did not have an oven but a convection microwave. We got along just fine. Without the convection, would have been only inconvenient
