Craigslist find of the week - the anti-staging approach

I hope this gets a laugh out of a few people.

I've seen quite a few ads. People who just clean up a few things and snap pictures, and others who go through the trouble to stage the interior, etc.

And then you find the people who didn't bother to de-clutter... or maybe they added more clutter for that lived in look?

Maybe the seller believes in truth in advertising and, subscribes to the 'what you see is what you get' theory.

They probably can't figure out why it's not selling. :h

My local scrapyard would give me a few hundred bucks for it. And probably let the illegals that work there live in it for a while.

Yeah - asthma kicking in just looking at it.

Although, mine wasn't much worse when I got it. Mildew not mold. Everything was coated in black. Took forever to clean, and I still happen upon a missed spot once in a while (have only had it a year now).

Right - and the seller doesn't get it. He's shaved $8,000 off the original price so far. Maybe if he cleaned it up and posted updated pics he'd save himself thousands of dollars.
