Dash Camera / Video recommendation

Hi, I would like some recommendation about installing a Dash camera to record video while traveling.

Is it possible to start / stop with a wireless remote?
How long can you record?
How is the record quality?
Connect and download into a computor?

Something like this

No not likely to get a lot of reliability for $35 CDN, or &18 US.

This is what I bought about two years ago, still about $100 and takes a micro SD card, 32 Gb gives about 6 hours recording, this being the updated version. I would buy this again.

I've been using this 1080 $18 one for six months plus a $10 micro SD card. Night vision is not great but I leave it on 24/7.
This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.

I have a Garmin Dash Cam 20. Excellent quality video day and night. 32 gig mini SD card will record about 9-10 hours of HD and then starts to overwrite. Also shows speed, direction of travel and location on the video. Highly recommend but you will pay around $200. Forget the cheap ****.

Better pass on this POS. Wife thought they were a good deal and bought 7 of them for the grandkids. lasted about two weeks and the sun shining on them they all threw *****.

I have an old GoPro that works great but they ain't cheap. Sams have on called Monster for about $119 I think.

The market is saturated with a lot of junk. You would be well advised to seek out one of the many forums devoted to dash cameras and reading up before purchasing one.

Oh yeah, and be wary of scam 'review' websites, there are tons of those as well.

The camera that you are looking at has a removable SD card so that can be read by any computer that will accept an SD card. The picture quality is 1080 which is high definition. You will probably find the night vision is poor. You can probably get 16 hours or so of continuous recording and then it will just record over itself. They make 12 volt wireless switches that you can use to turn it on and off with a wireless remote. I use one with a wireless camera that I have.

Link for the above.

In this case, I don't think you're going to get a lot of picture quality for $35.
