First off what is not working?
I would guess the reel is not turning.
Do you have a hand held remote or a switch?
Do you have power to the system?
Do you have a bypass lever to let you operate the reel manually? If so is in power mode?
Yep,
We need a bit more info on just what's wrong. We too have a power shore power cord. I didn't really know how it all worked when we first got the coach. But, with a little digging around, I figured out how certain things worked on it. I don't know if the OPs system is similar or not but, in short, I have two roller guides, one on each side of the cord as it winds in or out. Each of those rollers has a micro-switch on it.
As the cord is rewound into the barrel, it will touch either roller and, whatever roller it's touching, will trigger the micro switch. But, nothing happens unless BOTH rollers are touching their respective switches. That can't happen with just the regular cord housing. But, there is a collar clamped round the cord housing about 18" or so from the plug. When winding in that cord, and the collar touches both rollers, then both micro switches are triggered and, THAT will stop the motor from winding in the cord.
Now, can this be the OPs issue, not a clue. When he gets back with some info on just what the problem is, we'll be able to help better.
