Eventually saw my Sisters VW Transporter Conversion

Known as Campervans, they are the smallest Class B you can get. I got to ride in the back, as my Wife and Sister are in the front two seats.
Being a fairly small converter, the company did a reasonable job, more basic than I expected. Ride was OK went well, but there was some rattles from things that my Sister said she needed to adjust

Swing out BBQ cooker, is detachable from main Van as well

Part of it is a culture thing. I see Europeans will be happy to spend 2-3 hours putting up an awning, add-a-room tent on the side of their campers, and another 2-3 hours taking it down. However, here in the US, we might have a weekend and a day off, so the goal is to park and spent only a few minutes setting up.

Another part is the tent shower. If I did that in most of the US, someone would be on their cellphone calling the county sheriff, local PD, the FBI, the EPA, and every LEO in between, claiming that the gray water is a toxic waste spill. Even dumping fresh water will get the local sheriff coming around to ask questions. Someone showering in a tent will also get people on the phone to the police about indecency with a child, lewd acts, and other things.

I think I might start another thread on this, but one way to fix this would be to have a pop-top campervan with an aisle shower. Pop the top, nudge a cover aside, shower in the center of the van.

The Tent Shower only takes 10 mins to put up These Vans are used for weekends away., not really prolonged stays due to the small size, in that sense they are great, easy to park, sip on fuel and a place for a couple to crash, without having to book into a hotel
Problem with an aisle shower is the space constraints, that is why the outside one I.e to shower after a swim etc

With Roof extended and shower screen opened, it would look similar to this

That is why they are called Campervans, more a motorised tent than a more spacious Class B. Perfect for her needs, can be parked in an underground car park. Yes has a 2 Litre diesel, similar to all VW Commercial Vans
