Anyone towing a Ford C Max hybrid with keyless start? Manual says to leave key in accessory position when towing...how do you do that when there is no key?

We have the keyed C-Max. My understanding is the key is left in ACC so the gear shifter can be in N. There has been a couple of people post that they modified their shifter so it could be in N without turning on the key to ACC. What is important is getting into N. Also will need a charge line to the battery if left in ACC. Battery will be dead in a few hours of towing. We tow ours and it has been great. This topic should be moved to the toad section of this forum where there are more C-Max owners.
