Ford V10 A/c Question

I have a 2012 (2011 chassis) Ford class C and I notice that when I go up a hill under a load, the a/c blower will cut out for 10 seconds or so. Then it comes back as normal. It almost seems the blower is still going but an intake door closed or something. Not sure of that though? Turning off the a/c to vent does not affect this, nor does changing the blower speed. Anyone else have this happen, have an idea?

Probably diverting to defrost vents. Lay a paper towel up there. It shouldn't move unless the blower discharge diverts. Then you'll at least know what kind of problem to chase.
Under heavy load, the Powertrain Control Module can drop your A/C compressor out, but not the fan.

sounds like a vacuum leak

It sounds like a loss of vacuum pressure. Typically when you have a complete loss of vacuum the heater fan flow is directed by default to the front window defrost vents. Any chance you have had mice chew holes in vacuum lines?
