Freedom Elite 21C ex-rental from CW

Has anyone had experience buying a 2012 ex-rental (usually 21C) from Camping World? I'm thinking about it in Little Rock, AR. I'm a bit concerned by mileage I see listed by other CW dealers (ours doesn't post mileage). Most seem to be 60K to 80K and more for 2012's (30K to 40K per year). Isn't this excessive for a two year old RV? Cruise America units average 120K to 180K, but that's for six year old RVs (20K to 30K per year).

The closest Cruise America sales site is Dallas area, and the closest CW rental site is also Dallas. CA does have a rental site in Springfield, MO, about 200 miles away.

I'm just wondering about your experiences, and reliability of units with that many miles in such a short time.

Thanks for any thoughts and opinions.

Thanks for the replies.

Actually, I've been planning on renting a class C to determine I am with driving such a huge vehicle. The Cruise America dealer 200 miles away is just a rental site. My local CW doesn't rent.

My current RV is a 94 class B. The last C I drove was 40 years ago with a 19 foot leisure Time on a Ford Econoline that had the back torched behind the cab; well before cut-away vans were built and no classes of motorhome. As I recall, they were called mini-motorhome or chopped vans. How times have changed. FYI, the camper was OK, but the Econoline was a piece of junk, even when new.

IMO more miles might work out better for you. RV spent more time on road than others so maybe not as much use on the house part of RV as other used units.

Many on here have x-rentals, most seem happy with them. Easy to search on here.

200 miles is along ways to look for one. And by the way we are still happy 5 years later.
