front vs rear diesel

Looking at a FRED diesel Tiffin coach. What are the big negatives if any of the front vs rear versions? It is a Cummins while most of the rears are Freightliner. Does that also make a big difference? Have never owned one in the past as I wanted to do my own maintenance which is why I bought gas chassis instead.

I don't find a problem with noise and I do have air suspension all around.

If I'm not mistaken Tiffin used Freightliner chassis with the Cummins engine. You won't have the air bag suspension and other ride improvements a full up DP has but I would expect your fuel usage should be a bit better than a gas powered coach. For a bit more chassis info click HERE.

Also don't confuse Freightliner with Cummins. Freightliner makes the chassis or frame then bolts a Cummins engine in place. Same as Workhouse. Workhouse built the frame and installed a GM power train. Two separate companies.

Freightliner makes both chassis, though Tiffin did use other chassis.

Both also with Cummins engine.
