OK, I've got a V-10 Gasser, weight is about 24k#, about to take the first trip with the Toad, weighs 3500#. What kind of effect will this have on my MPG ? Trying to plan stops.

Probably 1/2 MPG but since you will be two vehicles you have a "Double Bonus". So from 8 you'll drop to 7.5 or so, but with the double bonus if will feel like 15 MPG. Just be sure to remove the EZ-Pass transponder or the toll authority will also get a double bonus also.
I always plan for 30-50 percent less mpg than I expect. I'd rather fill up sooner than later.

When we had an F53 on a 35 foot coach, the mileage loss was less than ½ mpg pulling a 4300 Jeep. Definitely not enough to prevent us from pulling the Jeep anytime the MH was moving.
