Over the weekend I ran the Generator for about 2 hours all of a sudden it just quiet like it ran out of fuel. Tried to restart over and over and started to get a strong gas smell (seems like the carb is flooded). I let it set over night and still nothing. Any help would be great. Model # 4700-0

Thanks for the input guys. I failed to mention this is on a Toy Hauler that has a fuel station on board. I currently have the trailer back at storage and will get out there this weekend and (1)check for spark. (2) Clean plug and replace filter. I'll post back my findings later in the week.

If you have a strong smell of gas, it could have got something caught in the needle and seat for the float and over filled the float bowl and flooded the engine. Pull the plug and see if it is gas soaked. Clean it with an air gun and try it again. Also check the air filter, if it is real dirty, it will also cause it to run rich and flood out the motor.

Do you have spark? Check the simple stuff first.
