Have been dealing with no charging house batteries while driving. After posting the question on Tech issues and getting some good answers discovered that I did not have a good ground. No need to buy new alternator or isolator.

House battery ground is very susceptible to corrosion as the ground cable is usually bolted to the frame where water can get to it.

Are 90% of these issues a faulty ground? I think so.
