Hankook tire inflation question

A couple of weeks ago I posted that I had a question on newly purchased Hankook tires. Thanks for the input. New question... I purchased 6 245/70 19.5 AH11 tires. I called the Hankook headquarters in New Jersey to get an inflation chart which was promptly emailed to me. The chart say that if my front weight on each tires is 3,250# the pressure is off the chart below 60# for each tire. I know that the chart is accurate but I am wondering if anyone is running tire that low. It just seems that in 10+ years RVing I have never experienced tires inflated to below 8o#.
What pressure is anyone using for these tires?
Any input/advise is appreciated.

I had a front end alignment because my MH was wondering all over the road,I have 6 new tires ( Honkook ) 245-70R 19.5 i was running 80# all the way around. At the garage they put 90# in all 6 and it drives like a different MH. By the way it,s a 33ft Winnebago sightseer.

Last year I replaced 6 Michelin tires with 6 Hankook 225/70R19.5. I called Hankook and they advised that I should use the same tire pressure that I had been using in the Michelins which was (70 #) and based on my verified MH weight. The Michelin tread had worn quite well for the 50,000 miles that I had run them and the ride is about the same now.

I don't think I'd go as low as 60# but 70-75# would be OK. I usually run abt 75 in mine on the front and 80-85# on the rear according to my weight.

Hoot....Did you weigh your coach and, if so, what were the weights?

Hope that is bad advice. The coach label shows PSI based on each axle loaded to its GAWR. Hopefully, you are under that so PSI can be less. Only weighing will tell you.

I recently purchased the very same tires for my MH. The dealer inflated the tires to 100 PSI which is the max PSI labeled on the side wall. However, the previous tires were never inflated beyond 80 PSI which is the recommended pressure listed on the manufacturer's inflation/weight label inside the coach. I recently read somewhere on another RV website that the coach mfg. recommended PSI stated on that coach label should be used at all times. I currently am back to 80 PSI.

Are the 245's the original size. Seems that 225's would do the job easily. Now having said that, I always provide a cushion of 10 - 15 psi over what's called for after weighing in fully loaded, to take care of any variables, like changes in ambient temps while traveling, just to name one. Soooooo, if I was to stay with the 245's, then I would at least run 80 pounds pressure, for whatever reason.
