Hankook tires for DP

Pricing 22.5 tires for my 36ft Monaco DP and see several prefixes on their part numbers and was wondering what is for motor homes not dump trucks. Don't want any tire noise for one thing....Thanks

Replaced my Michelins with Hankook several years ago and am very pleased with their performance. One lesson I learned which might help someone else:
Les Schwaab? installed my tires and used beads for balancing. After I left on an extended trip cross country, I checked the air pressure in one of the tires and when I finished I could not stop the air from escaping. To make a long story short, I went to a truck tire shop and found out that when beads are used for balancing, there is a special valve stem which must be used, otherwise the beads get into the valve core and it will not seal.
I called Schwaab later to complain but didn't get any help. I would think that as many tires as they sell that would know of this issue.
This has nothing to do with the brand of tire, just poor business practice.

Not sure yet--only drove a short distance over a 2 lane country road. They aren't smooth I'll be right back up there

We actually enjoyed a tax advantage by trading ours in. NY we pay sales tax on the difference we pay. We saved tax on $900 worth of trade ins.

Replaced the michilens on the old itasca with hankooks. Rode much better with less body roll. Bought our new to us Dynasty and put Honkooks on and they are great.

I could have got them a little cheaper on line but then the hassle of getting them mounted and balanced wasn't worth it. I can always sell the take offs around here but this time sold them where they were taken off---no hassle!

Good deal - and another reason to always check with your local tire shop.

When I had our Bridgestones installed the dealer took our old tires in trade - he has a good market for them. We have many farms locally and they use them for the field trailers. It's a win for everybody.

Got the Hankooks today. All 6 for $2500 mounted, fronts spin balanced on the DP and rears on the machine, new valve stems also. I did better on selling my old ones as a guy was there with a low boy with same size tires and he gave me $125 each for my take offs. 2 were 2014 Daytons and 4 were 2015 Firestones. Ended up costing me $1750 out of pocket.

Yes. I can get them for about $340 each shipped to me BUT I checked my local guy and he will mount and balance with new valve stems for $2500 for all 6. I think I will go that route as I can sell my take offs for $600----Thats $1900 out of pocket. Yes

AH37 Hankook tires 275 70 22.5 are really good tires. They drive well and are very quiet. Safety-wise they are an 18 ply tire that I had mounted at the time on my '07 Newmar Ventana 3936.
