I stored the rv with the Jacks down for the first time. My guess it didn't like that.3 of them want back up and 1 the passengers front only went half way up. I tried re-leveling 3 or 4 times I even losing the 5/8 nut's on the pump and that didn't work. now at this point I not all 4 down and none will go up..lol What next??

A BAD shuttle valve will do what you have experienced. REPLACE the Shuttle valve or it will stick again. Doug

To my knowledge, most leveling jacks are one way hydraulic cylinders. It takes hydraulic pressure to extend the jacks and the springs retract the jacks. To retract the jacks, a valve must open to allow the hydraulic oil to free-flow back to the oil reservoir tank. Since all 4 levelers do not retract, I suspect the return valve is stuck closed. This can happen when valves are left in one position for a long period of time. Some valves may have a manual over-ride. If you can locate the return valve, with the control in the retract position, you might try to lightly tap the valve with a hammer. If this fails, the valve may have to be disassembled and cleaned. I wish you the best.

I missed where you stated you now have all 4 extended and none will retract? If so, go back to the pump. You have the 4 jack hyd lines. Loosen each 5/8 nut again until fluid starts to seep out. If NONE of the jacks start to retract, you have bad internal seals on all 4 jacks. If some of the jacks start to retract---REPLACE the Shuttle valve. This valve will cause lack of retraction of all 4 jacks. Doug

Re-level and spray the jacks with WD40 for a temporary fix. Another fix is put some transmission fluid on a rag and wipe the jacks then retract. Woeked for e when the jacks began to get sluggish in retracting. Good Luck.

That jack has a bad internal seal. You will need to replace it or have it rebuilt. Doug

Borrow some type floor jack and raise that side as high as you can. Put bricks or boards under the jack foot, then lower the floor jack to put pressure on the HWH jack. If you have enough clearance, but the jack drectly under the jack foot. then try to raise it. The extra weight may be all that is needed to get it back up. Lube the jack well with spray lube first. HWH jacks just use spring tension to raise, and after being down all winter, they may just need a bit more push to come up.
