I have a 1994 Winnebago Adventure. The in-dash heater/defroster/AC will blow for about 10 minutes (until it gets up to temperature) then it will shut down. After about a minute or two It will act like it is trying to come back on (short bursts of air) two or three times, then it will run again for about a minute and keep up this cycle until it is turned off?

Any help??

It is usually cheaper to replace it than to try to repair it. After all it is going on 20 years old. The problem is trying to find a replacement. There may be numbers on the fan motor that will help. Contacting Winnebago may help find out who manufactured it and where it is available.
You need to have someone trouble shoot it further with a meter to find out why it is powering off and then coming back on. This may be easier to figure out once it is removed.

OK. . .I will try and find it. . .if it is what you said. . .any suggestions? Do you think the fan motor needs to be replaced? Thanks again!

Mine is on the firewall right in front of the passenger seat but some are located under the hood in front.

Thanks very much for the reply. . .do you have any idea where the fan motor might be? Thanks!

It sounds like the fan motor is overheating and the thermal cut-out is shutting it down until it cools off. Next time this happens put your hand on the fan motor and see if it is getting hot. It could have a bearing that is failing or debris that is blocking the air flow.
