It's cold in the basement

On our last trip across central Florida the temperature on the lcd dash display showed 20 degrees F in our basement compartments. I do believe the temp sending unit has malfunctioned. I also think that this unit is located somewhere behind the white wall in the wet bay. Can someone point me to the location of this sending unit.

Mine is in the manabloc bay, passenger side second from the back in front of the rear axle, opposite the water pump assembly....Dennis
