Jayco class A experiences

We've been camping for 40 years and now want to move up to a class A. Started in the back of. suburban to a tent to a pop up to a class c to a couple of TT. Although we have had a great experience in the past 10 years with our Arctic Fox, it has become more difficult for my with to get in and out of the tow truck. With a toad behind, traveling will be easier when we stop at sites and use the toad. We are looking at a Jayco 31U since it has a large shower. I also like the fact they have a 2 year warranty and a fiberglass roof. There are "lemons" with every manufacturers but have Jayco owners, over all, had good experiences with their Claa A and is a fiberglass roof, if taken care of, longer lasting or more durable than TPO roofs? Thanks so much for any comments/ ideas.

The DH wanted a Class C that she could drive. We got the Jayco Redhawk which is the cheapest model they had, the features and construction were good. My DH missed the large windshield of the Class A and wanted a king size bed, so we are back to a Class A. Jayco products and their dealer service departments are first rate, that's my opinion.

We had an excellent experience with our Jayco TT. We purchased a Jayco Motorhome. Major mistake! Jayco focuses on glitz and glam but if you look underneath you will find poor construction, poor workmanship, and their warranty is a bit of a red herring. Yes it is longer warranty but the real problem is the unethical behavior of their new executives. They don't RV and don't like RVers. I spoke with them they lied to us directly. I can tolerate defects in an item as complex as a motorhome however I don't tolerate being lied to. I can provide very detailed information as to the problems with Jayco motorhomes if you PM me. In short, I say run don't walk away from Jayco.
