L sofa

My wife really likes the new L shaped sofas. I was wondering if anyone did a retrofit with one of these and how it worked out. To me it seems like it should be a pretty simple retrofit, but maybe I am missing something. I have checked a couple of online catalogs and I can't seem to find them listed.

I am planning a renovation in the fall with Bradd & Hall who sells the flex steel extend a sofa and a company named Villa...(higher end and custom made to fit). My wife too likes the L shape to make a better conversation area in the salon. We are also adding a 2 person booth so basically doing the entire slide wall. Prices vary depending on materials $3,800-$9,000.

It sure beats getting a new coach so the DW will be happy.

Your last sentence sums it up for me. That is exactly how I feel. I would rather throw 10k into my current rig rather than start with a new unknown rig with all its associated issues.

I had one custom made by a local upholstery shop for our coach. It measures 95" x 86" and has storage underneath. It has cup holders in the arms and two 120 volt outlets for laptops, etc. Total cost was around $1200.

I'm sure you can retrofit them. I believe most manufacturers use Flexsteel. Here's a link to their RV sectionals: http://www.flexsteel.com/vehicle-seating/products/motor-home-seating/extenda-flex-lounges.

It looks like you can order Flexsteel sofas through CampingWorld. Their website doesn't list the sectionals but I'd be very surprised if they couldn't order it. One issue is that I think they are fairly expensive - I didn't see prices anywhere but I'd be surprised if they were less than $3k.
