LCI auto levellers, error note

Friend has 2015 Itasca 35F with LCI auto leveling. Took it for a ride today and noticed that the leveling pad had a note scrolling across it
"leveler retract timeout error" return for leveler service

Could not delete/reset - levelers will not turn on. Cycling ign on/off does not eliminate error message. This is not my coach and I am trying to help the gal sell it after her husband passed away. Just trying to figure out if I can fix the levelers prior to delivering to new owners

Any ideas of what / where to look? As far as I know all was working properly when the rig was parked in early Dec just before the husband passed away. Any info would be appreciated.

Parking Brake may be the trick here. When I parked the coach I did not apply the parking brake (used to a pusher with air brakes where I pop the button). Thanks Doug, will stop over and see if that clears the code.

Parking Brake not engaged.
Engine is not running prior to starting auto retract sequence.
Leaking hose or fitting
Possible fixes.

Press Enter and Retract. Engage parking brake.
Press Enter and Retract at the same time to clear error. Turn engine on and restart auto retract sequence.
Check for leaks, repair if necessary. Press enter and retract to clear error

By pushing enter and retract at the same time should clear the codes and make sure they apply parking brake before using the system

purchaser is the one who noticed the error message, they gave me a deposit knowing this was an issue - just "trying" to see if I can find an easy fix and correct this. They have an extended warranty that comes with purchase so are not particularly concerned. No nefarious intent here, just looking to help out if I can get some idea as to what the issue is

Don't try. You and the "gal" need to have this repaired prior to sale by someone with experience and qualifications OR you and the "gal" need to completely inform the buyers prior to sale.

when I hit the "on/off" button nothing happens - still shows error message

see if this will work, turn on the leveler, press retract and enter button at the same time it should reset the system.
