I have a Class A RV which is a 2008 Model. I am very happy with my Motorhomes. I am only changing some interior last month.

Had a 99 V-10 in our first class A with 75K and no problems at all when we sold it. Just bought a 2011 Class A with the newer V-10, and just as happy with it. You cant go wrong with this engine.

If your choice is between the V10 and the Workhorse with the 8.1 V8, I would go with the latter. Lots of power without the high revving of the V10.

The house will fall apart long before the engine and chassis will.

I changed the plugs in my '04 V10 at about 130,000 with no problem. The plugs, brakes, a couple times, tires and an alternator are all so far. 175,??? miles now and still runs strong.

I am very happy with my 03 V-10, but I only have about 55,000 miles on it. Have had no problems yet. JMO

The early V-10's 1998 - about 2001 had the 4 thread spark plug design. They were improved in later models.

The V-10 has proven to be very reliable and a workhorse motor. Very few issues
have been reported. I had the 1999 version of the V-10. Never replaced the spark plugs. No issues with the engine at all. Ran like a top.
My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.
