We just purchased a Safari Sahara 3506, 300hp Cat Velvet Ride. I've been trying to locate a sales broshure for that year, actually I can find any info on the 2000-2001 Sahara. Who manufactured my rig? SMC or Monaco? I know that was about the time of the buy out. Thanks for any info?

Have you checked the RIDE HEIGHT-- an important issue with the Torsilastic Suspension.

Wasn't yours a 2000?

Join this group. One of the members uploaded a lot of documents for a lot of years and models. It should be a pre-Monanco Safari built in Oregon by Safari Motor Coach (SMC) on a Magnum (in house) chassis.

There are several after market fixes to the velvet ride suspension. In addition to the Yahoo groups, there is a Facebook group and is covered in the Monaco owners group at iRV2.com
