Milwaukee - a great place to visit

We've been in Milwaukee for a week now, staying at the Wisconsin State Fair Grounds and have had something to do everyday. At the fairgrounds is the Nascar Milwaukee Mile, the Olympic Speed Skating training building, a horse judging. Everything is just minutes from here. The Miller Park Stadium, home of the Milwaukee Brewers. The Harley Davidson Museum, The Quadracci Pavilion at the Milwaukee Art Museum (A building to not be missed!) that is right on Lake Michigan. The Pabst Mansion, many breweries with tours and the best Mexican Restaurant we've ever eaten at (Botanas) This is just a few of the things to do. There is also a River walk- not as good as Oklahoma's but a good walk and some outside cafes to stop at. Anyhow, it is an interesting city and one to put on your list of places to see and do.

We were there this past May for a Moose Convention. Stayed at the fair grounds, Milwaukee has to be the cleanest city I have been to. We had a great time, butter burgers, great bloody mary's, super beer.
See the art museum.

Glorioso's Italian Deli is a great stop if you want a quick stop at a place that has everything.

Up in Somerset, WI is the Bass Lake Cheese Factory, which is a good place to cut the cheese. This is a nice area, just north of Hudson, WI and right across the Mississippi River from Minn/St. Paul.
