okay, another question on the FR Windsong we recently received in trade for our winnie as this is the first time we've had a HWH hydraulic system for the slides and jacks (and no literature on it). we have a front and rear panel for the slide outs. they were set to "on" when we took possession. haven't a clue what would constitute an "off". after we set up camp for an extended period? after it's pulled it to travel? would the latter constitute a slide lock? at what point should we turn the key to the "off" position? never unless it's in an extended storage period? thanks again all for your thoughtful replies. btw, we checked the hydraulic fluid level after pulling in the slides after i reported a major leak from the system. my hubby did what he hoped was a fix to a drip we found at the fluid line/nut juncture. it didn't stop the drip.
