I did get the capacity from the panel. I did not get 4.5 quarts from the drain. This could because the overflow tank was clogged and not sending extar fluid to the radiator. It has been cleaned and there is now flow. I bought this coach in Jan. of this year. It seems there may have been some neglect on maintenance. I left the cap open overnight hoping it would burp out any air bubbles but it didn't seem to do much. I will probably take a lazer temp of the engine before changing out the high temp sensor or thermostat the water pump and belt seem to be in good shape. I was hoping someone was very familar with this engine and could let me know the best way to remove air pockets
I tried to tell you how to fill the engine with coolant by providing the Youtube video.
You didn't fill the engine in the proper place. Find the radiator cap under the cover and fill it there.

I recently drained the radiator fluid in my onan 7500 as general maintenance. When I repaced the fluid it seemed to take only about a quart of fluid I am pretty sure it is suppose to take about 4.5 quarts. Anyway now when it get up to temp is shuts off. My question is...is there a fluid bleeder on the block of diesel engine? I feel like I could have some sort of air trapped that won't allow the extra fluid. I have read all the posts on the temp sensor and belts to the pump. I just can't figure out why all of a sudden it won't take anymore fluid and if for some reason it is full why it is shuting down
