Removing Shower Doors

Has anyone removed their shower doors and replaced them with a shower curtain? I hate, hate, hate those shower doors. Did i say hate? Anyway I have a corner tub/shower in my 40ft. Holiday Rambler and want to tear those things out and put in one of those curved shower rods. Any thoughts? I have looked for a shower rod specific to a corner tub unit and am only finding the residential rods. I am going to buy one tomorrow and see if it fits before tearing out the glass doors. Your experience would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

For water spots you might try 'Clean Shower'. Spray it on after showering on the enclosure and also the shower door. It works great.

Yes, the doors take some effort in keeping them clean but I agree, taking them off will not be good for resale. Curtains are 'old-fashioned'.

Why will nobody want a shower curtain? I'm new to my Class A; Is there some benefit to glass doors? It seems to me that the glass doors are noisy, they are horrible to clean the water spots off of, and ugly (my opinion as far as interior design goes). You can't find these or buy these new if someone wanted them?

Our shower is in our master bath at the very back of the coach. Not in the center of our coach

"Carrie S".....Even though you may hate it, I would be careful taking it out. Either save it for when you sell the coach, because no one will want a shower curtain, or put it up for sale, because there are those probably looking for that set up that isn't available anymore.

If you can't find a shower rod, you might have one made. A local metal fabricator or even a muffler shop could bend you a rod. Add ends and a center support.
