Can only report on my own experience. Now, on my third set of 670's. First set was on my old gasser w/ 19.5 inch. Had them on for 4 years until we traded in and no problems. Bought the DP and they had them on (22.5 inch), but the date code indicated that they were 4 years old, but no problem. Ran them for another year then replaced with a new set of 670's all around. Haven't had any problem with this latest set which is about 2-1/2 years/approx 14,000 miles old now.

When I had a flat fixed on one of my MH tires at a Goodyear store, I asked about rivering. They told me that is what happens if the shocks are bad. All I know is that my 245R70/19.5's are 6 years old and were put on at the same time as Koni FSD shocks------------and they are wearing very even at 37,000 miles.

He was correct.

my GY G670's looked beautiful, rode great, just seconds before 2 blow outs.
just before the blowout, all was FANTASTIC, but after 2 blowouts within hours of each other, they didn't appear so great anymore.

Does Don Don work for Goodyear? This smells like a PR thread to me. Especially since he does not want input from the Goodyear "hater".

lol It is funny and probably human nature !! IE: if someone were to start a thread for poodle lovers............... eventually someone would come on and say they don't like poodles or prefer Black Labs ! lol (I know I do)

Our 2003 Dynasty had G149's from the factory. They were five years old when we took possession of it in 2007 and 55k miles. Started to weather check and the previous owner appeared to have curb checked one pretty bad and I didn't like the looks of it. I replaced the G149's in spring 2008 with G670's. So far almost 5 years and ~27k miles with no issues and wearing good.

after 2 rotations and 2 front end alignments and the third time rivering of the front tires I gave up. Fine, there are hundreds or thousands of happy campers with these tires but there are just as many unhappy campers with rivered steering tires. When I brought my coach into the tire shop the tech told me he has never replaced a G670 that wasn't rivered. must be the altitude in Reno. When you mention rivering to Goodyeart, they pretend they don't know what you're talking about. That was enough turn me off to them.

No more problems for me since I ditched them and got Hankook AH11s. The GY rear blow out was enough for me.

our Winnie went 50k with the OE Goodyears..with no problems...changed off because of cracks...the only problem I had with the Goodyears, they would loose a little air between runs...constant pressure check kept them in tune other than that they were a great tire.
