Our 2004 Georgie Boy Pursuit was stolen from the locked lot in the community we live in on July 11,2016 in the early morning hours. We are devastated, we bought new and have taken excellent care of her. We were leaving next Friday on our first ever month long trip. This after having to put my 14 year old Jack Russell down that we have had since she was a baby, last Tuesday. We are struggling with the loss of both.

Man I hate thieves! Hopefully your insurance company will take care of you. Sorry about your furry friend. It's always tough losing a dear friend and pet.

I feel for ya on both accounts. One of our dogs had to be put to sleep about 4 weeks ago.

We had our 2004 Coachmen Aurora stolen about 3 years ago, right before a cross country trip. As with some, and ours, it may be found.

We were actually lucky, while we did not get back what we thought we should, including some upgrades, the actual claim did come up beyond market value. We did take a loss.

Star making your aftermarket addition list and your personal items list. We maxed out the personal items claim.

We settled on a claim, bought the new MH and then they found the MH. The sheriff called and said, we found your MH. I replied that they had found the insurance company's MH and gave him the contact info. We had moved up and were glad to keep it that way.

While it is a very frustrating and uncertain time, it will pass and you will get back to normal camping soon.

Man!, I am sorry for you. It will not be the same but maybe your insurance company can get you into something for your trip. Unless you are extremely lucky, I would not county on getting your old unit back.

Were there any surveillance camera located at the storage facility?

Start checking CL and EBay. It may show up as a potential scam.
If you are sure it's yours, take the police with you when you go to 'buy' it.

Unfortunately, it may be stripped, used as a cabin, meth lab or, a rolling party.
IF you get it back, don't expect it to be in the same condition as you left it.

Hopefully it was just used for a joy ride and will turn up in relatively good condition.

I'm sorry for your loss. I am sure that the motor home will turn up as it is a little difficult to hide. It may be used for a joy ride or it may be used to put up for sale and steal down payment cash from as many potential buyers as they can find in a short time. If it goes up for sale, it will be priced way below it's real worth.
