Sewer Hose Connections

I need some help. My hands are smaller than most and have a touch of arthritis in my thumbs. I'm having a devil of a time holding and twisting the sewer hoses apart. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, how did you resolve it?

I filed down the nubs a little, so the connection is easier to twist on and off.

Hose wrench I posted is not the exact one I got. Mine was ones from Camco. Camco doesn't show my old style.

As stated, lube as needed and no issue.

The locking version may be better for those that can't squeeze the handles. Locking oil filter wrench

I apply a small dab of Vaseline to the round 3" plastic connectors about once a year.

I got a pair of those.. NOT at all pleased with them

I also got Oil Filter Pliers at Harbor Freight

And they fit perfectly and worked great.

same problem here. yeah, tried one of those but had poor reaults. tried an automobile oil filter wrench and, as fhe frenc( say,, c'est magnifique! got mine at harbor frieght. 🙂
