Slide out wiggles out a little while driving

You all were great in answering my "DUH" generator question I have another.
I've notice the dinette slide out on our "new to us" 2010 Jamboree Sport will wiggle it's way out (open) about an inch at the bottom while driving which results in an air leak & a probable water leak. It remains tight @ the top though. It's gear/motor driven because I've looked into a manual means of closing it if the motor should fail. I have found no locking pins or anything else & the manual is of no help.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris

Finally got a chance to fabricate a brace.
Supplies:
2- 4x4 blocks 4" long (hanging around)
1- 1/2" turnbuckle with eyelet ends
2-3" deck screws

Cut a notch in each block so the eyelets fit in about 3/4 of the way. Ran a 3" screw from the side of the block through the eyelet to keep the block attached to the eyelet. Each block can rotate on the eyelet about 45 degrees for any angle differences.
Done.
Drop it in place & simply twist the center until it snugs up.
Total cost $14 for the turnbuckle.
I'd attach a picture, but it seems I'm not allowed?
Thanks for your help.
Chris

That should work too, or even a 2 x 2 or 2 x 4 with a little base plate on each end - cheaper also ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks Mich F. I like that idea & I can probably make one from a large wooden dowel with a block on each end. Didn't think of bracing it from the inside. Although I can only access the forward end it's the "leading edge" when driving so that should help cut down on the noise & movement.
I'll fabricate one up before our next outing.
Many thanks!!
Chris

You might want to invest in one or two of these.

All motorhomes have different ways of securing the slid eout. Mine has a nylon strap that attaches at the bottom of the slide out and then to the floor. Check near the bottom of the slide out about a foot above the bottom for some means of fastening. You could always contact Fleetwood customer service and ask them.
