My slide outs aren't working. The fuse is good. Any suggestions on what to look for?

More than just the fuse, there is a control board for each slide in many MH's. Look in the electrical/fuse/inverter section of you MH, and check for the control boards. Many will have a ceramic fuse that you can get at Radio Shack. Or, you may need a new board.

I got my slide outs to work. One battery was real low so when I started the generator they both worked. When it's not so hot I'll clean the cables and charge them and see if that helps. Thanks everyone for all the advice.

I tested the batteries and they all seemed good.

2001 Southwind. Electric Slide outs. I see no pins and no noise. I checked the batteries and they're all good. When I hit the AUX battery switch above the main door I hear a click under the dash. When I hit the main battery switch I hear nothing.

I have a 2001 Southwind. The system is electric. One thing I notice is when I hit the AUX battery switch above the door I hear a click under the dash. When I hit the main battery switch I hear nothing.

The shear pin is located outside, under the slide where the mechanics are on my coach. I had to crawl under the slide almost to the center of the coach to find it.

For me it was always the cables at the batteries. However there was someone on here recently who found out that the drivers door needed to be shut to work. With all the idiosyncrasies between models I might first check the manual.

I think you mean Chassis battery and coach battery and the chassis is the main, It should operate off the coach so running engine is often called for to maintain max power.

Answering a lot of questions at once. My main battery is good. Does the slide outs operate off the reserve batteries? Where do I look for the pin?

the first step is to download a service manual. there is no substitute for correct, or at least good direction.
do the diagnostics. that should lead you to a cause and a solution.
the way i have always approached the situation is
#1 problem identify whether there is more than one problem, with the same system.
#2 cause. this is where the diagnostics weed out all the good guesses.
there is nothing that takes the place of a good hands on exam
there may be more than one cause
#3 solution. dont just throw parts at it. dont take short cuts. if you cant repair it, replace it.
